Yes, it’s another finished object. What can I say.
I bought this yarn because I was enamored with the color. I didn’t even think about it being superwash until after I got it home and started thinking about patterns. Figuring that it probably won’t hold a blocking very well, I decided on a pattern where that wouldn’t matter too much. The color is a bit washed out in the photo above – this detail one is much more accurate:
Pattern: Feather and Fan Comfort Shawl
Yarn: Dream in Color Smooshy, colorway “Giant Peach”, 1 skein
Needles: US 7 / 4.5mm

I love how the yarn is dyed, and how subtle the color variation is. The yarn itself I’m not so excited about for a shawl. It did soften up after washing, but I still don’t love the feel of it around my neck. That’s not to say that I really dislike it – I’m just sort of “meh” about it.
The yarn does feel fine on my arms, so I could certainly see using it yarn for baby clothes, sweaters, socks, etc. I just wouldn’t use it again for a shawl or scarf.

It kept my shoulders warm last night and it’s pretty, too. Thanks!
I love the color on you tho. It’s worth it just for that IMHO.
Lovely sort of faded sunset color!
It’s lovely! But I think that yarn is a sock yarn for a reason.
Pretty scarf in a yummy color! It’s like some French apricot dessert. Lovely.
It’s delicate and lovely. Very nice!
