Wow.

I knew it was soft.

I’d felt it in the skein, and fondled shawls knit from it.

But even that didn’t quite prepare me for the sensual feel of how Handmaiden Mini Maiden would feel as it slips through your fingers while you knit.

I can see how this yarn could be very addictive.

Mini Fountain Pen shawl

I’m not officially participating in the Ravelympics, but to support our Utah team, I cast on for the Fountain Pen shawl while I watched the opening ceremony last night. I’m doing Susan’s smaller version, using just one skein of Mini Maiden.

    It is crack. And can be ripped and reknit with no issues

    I’ve been looking for another color in Mini-Maiden to make myself a shawl. It’s beautiful yarn and that color is very pretty! It is crack, as stated above.
