While waiting for the yarn to start my new sweater project, I’ve started working on Baktus again.
At least now the striping is more obvious. There are stripes on the end point, but it’s hard to tell in the photo. Even in real life, they’re just barely visible.
And that next sweater? It will be Shauna (on Ravelry here), in cream-colored Louet Gems sportweight. I just got notified that the yarn came in yesterday, so I’ll be heading to my LYS to pick it up today. The shop had this sweater as a sample a while back. I tried it on, and didn’t want to take it off. It was a perfect fit (even length and sleeves), and the yarn felt very soft and cozy.

Like it!
It looks great. Can’t wait to see Shauna come together!!
How pretty – and in sportweight, you’ll get a lot of wear out of that one!
Shauna will be gorgeous! And you know how much I love cables……knitting this with Louet sport-weight will be soft!
Oh… very nice.
I like your Baktus a lot! I bought a ball of rainbow crazy zauberball and am going to make another one.
I think it looks cool.
She’ll be a very pretty sweater and a fun challenge, I bet.
Nifty scarf – the blues are wonderful.
I lurve the stripiness!
I like your color choices here…I’m partial to dark anyway and I like the more subtle striping!
absolutely admirable.
Thank you for drawing my attention to the Baktus pattern. I just love it–so simple and so wearable. I plan to make several! Have some friends in mind!
I have always loved that sweater.
