FO: Wurm and The Go-To Scarf

Two, two, two FO’s in one post!

First up, is another Wurm. This time, I made it in a bulky yarn. Since I didn’t want to do a hem with the bulkier fabric, I just did a 1×1 rib instead.

The hat is really for me, not for the Pontiff. He just agreed to model it for me.

I also made a matching scarf. This is the “Go To Scarf“, a nice, squishy, easy-to-knitĀ  mistake rib.

I added two extra stitches so that I could have a nice slipped stitch edging:

Both projects used Cascade 128, in “Cordovan”. I used three skeins in total – just slightly over one skein for the hat, and the rest for the scarf. The scarf measures 4.5″ x 53″.

I’m thinking about making matching gloves using the matching Cascade 220.

I didn’t realize you wanted the second skein for the hat. Great idea and they both look cozy and warm.

Excellent, and if it’s anything like as cold as it is here right now, very timely too!
