Knitting Updates

The Myrtle Leaf shawl has finally grown! I now have 30 repeats of the body done – 10 more to go. It takes at least an hour to knit one repeat. Sometimes considerably more, depending on how many mistakes I make, and whether I rip back to fix them or just fake it.

I also started on a shawl using 2 balls of Mini Mochi. The pattern is the Gaia Shoulder Hug, and I’ve finished one ball and started on the second. I like the Autumny colors, but it’s turning out much darker overall than I had expected.

But wait, there’s more! I also started a scarf using the pattern Whipped. I’m using a skein of Pagewood Farms sock yarn.

So let’s see. That makes six current WIPs. I guess I’d better go do some more knitting.

The scarves and shawls will work up quickly. Car knitting is perfect for a loooong piece like Myrtle Leaf.

    Good thing you’re retired!

I have three balls of Mini Mochi (all the same colorway) and I’ve been pondering what to do with them. I like your idea!

Wow! You have startitis, too. I went though a bout of that a while ago. Right now I am working to finish up several of those items i cast on during my most recent startitis. Go for it.
