That cast-on looks worth its wt in gold. THanks for the link! And I am very excited to hear that the Hiatt book might be coming. For those of us who are not long long long time knitters, our libraries can seem incomplete.

I was going to finish something but now that I’ve been given permission – nay, orders! to cast on, so I shall.

Just not possibly the double needle cast on but possibly the cast off. That looks pretty intriguing.

Does it have another name? There are 20 pages of cast-ons in Montse Stanley’s book, but none with quite that name.

I agree those instructions were useless. Well, what did you think of it? Is there a benefit to it?
