Verena Knitting Fall 2009

I just got my new Verena Knitting magazine for Fall 2009.

I’m not too crazy about the women’s patterns in this issue. There are a only a couple I might consider making, one of which is the cover sweater.

But I must say, they’ve got some very nice patterns for men in this issue, as well as a few cute ones for children. If my husband actually wears the sweater I’m making for him now, I might make one of these other ones for him too.

You can view thumbnails of all of the patterns in the current issues here. Go to the second page (Contents 2), and then you can use the magnifying glass tool to zoom in. You can click and drag the image around to view different areas.

Oh, great, thanks! I am definitely in need for some inspiration for men’s patterns. :)

  2. Karen says:

Definitely, definitely–the patterns for the guys are better in this issue!

  3. Cayenne says:

Cute kid stuff. I especially like the Nordic Girl cape. My little girl would love that. Hmmm. Maybe I can come up with something similar on my own?

  4. Chris says:

The womens stuff is scaring me…

  5. Carrie says:

I didn’t look very hard because I have a headache, but I think I like the brownish sweater on the fishing guy. Who, I suspect, has never touched a fishing pole in his life.
And I’d like to tell the person who thought the beeping noises would be a good idea that, um, no.

  6. Hmmm, what does your man think of his sweater so far?

  7. Carrie K says:

Ah, that cover. It’s cute, except for the button placement.

  8. Nora says:

Fun stuff, even if I’m too lazy to knit most of it. I do like the cover sweater.
