Verena Knitting Fall 2009

I just got my new Verena Knitting magazine for Fall 2009.
I’m not too crazy about the women’s patterns in this issue. There are a only a couple I might consider making, one of which is the cover sweater.
But I must say, they’ve got some very nice patterns for men in this issue, as well as a few cute ones for children. If my husband actually wears the sweater I’m making for him now, I might make one of these other ones for him too.

Cute kid stuff. I especially like the Nordic Girl cape. My little girl would love that. Hmmm. Maybe I can come up with something similar on my own?
The womens stuff is scaring me…
I didn’t look very hard because I have a headache, but I think I like the brownish sweater on the fishing guy. Who, I suspect, has never touched a fishing pole in his life.
And I’d like to tell the person who thought the beeping noises would be a good idea that, um, no.
Hmmm, what does your man think of his sweater so far?
Ah, that cover. It’s cute, except for the button placement.
Fun stuff, even if I’m too lazy to knit most of it. I do like the cover sweater.
