I’ve made good progress on my Drops 103-1 Jacket – most of the body is done, and I washed it and put it out to dry to check the length and gauge.
Notice that it’s wall-to-wall on my blocking board.
Yes, it’s very A-line.
Hopefully not too much.
I don’t really want to look like a tent.
While it’s drying, I decided to swatch for Thermal. Then I thought about how long it’s going to take to knit a long-sleeved sweater in waffle stitch on (probably) size US 2 needles. Hmmm. Well, I guess it won’t be something that’s done in a month, but I suppose I can start it and work on it throughout the year.

i just knitted it. an at the right gauge there is nothing tenty about the jacket. my niece, for whom it was knitted, says she is wearing it non stop.
One sweater that flies off the needles and another that’s a bit slower…it all averages out.
Looks good from here!
I bet the sleeves add the visual width at the top to make it more even when you wear it. What a great pattern!
I don’t think anything could look like a tent on you, but I’ll keep my fingers crossed for you and the sweater all the same.
I agree with Margene. Besides, you don’t want to be done with your 12 in three months, now do you?
*crosses fingers that sweater will be fabulously flattering*
