It’s been a heck of a knitting year!
The totals?
- 15 sweaters/tops
- 10 scarves and shawls
- 6 pairs of socks
- 5 pairs of gloves/mittens/mitts
- and a few miscellaneous items.
Whew!
As for my favorites? That was hard to choose. But here are a few of them:
1. The EPS Cardigan, because I learned to steek, and it was my first (and only, so far) colorwork sweater.
2. Central Park Hoodie, because it’s so wearable.
3. Veronik Avery’s Woolen Gloves, because they’re elegant and comfortable.
4. Chinese Style Pullover, because the paper yarn is so interesting and I got to learn how the Japanese knitting charts work.
5. Alpine Lace Scarf, because it’s gorgeous and although it took a long time to finish, it was always interesting to knit.
6. Holly and Poinsettia Mittens, because they were fun to knit and are so festive.

IMpressed with the group! I have that Japanese pattern, and am starting to quake in my boots about the Japanese part. What was I thinking??
Hm…. why are we letting you participate in the 12 sweaters in a year thing? You are making all the rest of us look bad already, and we haven’t officially started.
Yeah, so 12 sweaters will be a slow-down for you. You’re heading into semi-retirement with the knitting. Pfffffft.
(Well DONE, girlfriend!!!)
very impressive! your colorwork is beautiful.
I love your hair in the CPH photo. I don’t think I could pick a favorite out of all of those projects. xoxo
Retirement looks good on you!
You are an amazing knitter, Cheryl. Wow.
Wow that’s a lot of knitting!!
(And I’m totally in love with your CPH!!)
Will you be doing 18 next year since 12 would mean a slow down? ;^)
Love them all! xo
Fifteen sweaters?!? That is amazing in itself… you sure had a productive year with gorgeous knits!
Hmm, a sweater a month isn’t looking like much of a challenge for you for 2009!
What a year!
That is a stunning number of beautiful FOs!
FIFTEEN sweaters? Wow. WOW!
LOVE them all–and those mittens are adorable, too. You’re inspirational, Cheryl.
