It’s crazy.
This patch of iris bloomed last December, then in spring, then in July. Now look – a bunch of buds ready to try it again this December.
I know there are some re-blooming or everblooming iris varieties. But this isn’t one of them. I’ve had several patches of this same iris all over the yard (I keep dividing it and spreading it around). This one clump is the only one in 10 years that has ever rebloomed. If we don’t get a really hard freeze, I might even get some flowers out of it.

What a lucky and unexpected gift.
I’m looking forward to getting some of Angie’s iris next year. I’m thinking of scattering them near the workshop (that isn’t built yet)
I predict you’ll have flowers for Christmas.
How fun is that?! And, clearly, they are unaware that they are not repeat bloomers. Sometimes you just have to enjoy the ignorance of others!
