Larry's Socks

Not really, of course. But I just love all the colors in this yarn. It’s the sport weight yarn by Plain & Fancy Sheep & Wool Co., which I purchased at the Estes Park Wool Festival earlier this year. Colorway is “Primary”.

Larry's Socks

I bought the skein to make socks for my husband. I’m doing the Garter Rib sock from Sensational Knitted Socks by Charlene Schurch. It’s going pretty fast since it’s sportweight yarn, but not fast enough, apparently. Yesterday at lunchtime I was just a bit past the cuff (of the first sock). My husband asked “Are those Christmas socks?! Will they be done so I can wear them to the party tomorrow night?” Uh, I don’t think so. Maybe I’ll have the first one done before tonight. But at least I know he’s excited about them.

Merry Christmas!
