007 Snap-A-Dozen Days - September

Published September 25, 2007 by cheryl

As September comes to a close, the days grow cooler and the mountains start showing their beautiful fall colors. I’m always torn between my love for Autumn and the sadness of knowing that it’s oh-too-short in Utah, and that soon Winter will be upon us.

Yet still, there’s the bountiful harvest from the garden, the fall flowers putting on their beautiful display, and the weather that makes for an inviting knitting session on the deck.

The shawl is lovely. Congrats on getting it done in time. Wonderful end-of-summer pictures. Utah does have a short fall, but that makes it all the more lovely, I think.

I know what you mean. Hopefully we’ll have plenty of that nice fall weather first, since both MN and Utah had such hot summers!

It’s really only late August, if you judge by how long it’s taken the temps to turn. I’ll be by for some tomatoes later, yumm!
