August

Published August 29, 2007 by cheryl

Well, here I am at the huge Tan-Tar-A resort on the beautiful Lake of the Ozarks in Missouri. It’s hot, hot, hot - but is supposed to be cooler for the next few days. But like they say, it’s not the heat, it’s the humidity…

I was planning to do my August Snap-A-Dozen days from here, but unfortunately the port that’s supposed to read my camera card isn’t working, so I guess that isn’t going to happen.

But, all is well, and knitting is happening, so life is good.

I’m at a computer, wrenching creative commentary from my very soul in return for money, but the day promises amending soil in the garden this evening, plus pilfering perennials from the old house, followed by knitting and a movie, so all is well, and the skies are blue. Enjoy your time, and bring pictures back with you.

Funny. My camera cord decided to malfunction as well, so I don’t have any pictures either. We just ordered a new camera, but I have to wait a week or so for it to come. Bummer. I hope you have a nice trip!

    Thank God for air conditioning.

That is very near Branson, isn’t it? My in-laws always go to that theme park I can’t remember the name of. Something old-timey, and they have crafts and glass-blowing demos along with roller coasters. Did you go?
