Thursday’s Harvest

Today’s delicious harvest: Japanese eggplant, yellow carrots, and blackberries from my garden, plus apricots from a neighbor’s tree. It doesn’t look like there will be very many blackberries this year, but I’m not surprised considering how much I cut them back last year. Ghostly Mountains

The valley is full of smoke today, I guess it’s from the huge fires in southern Utah. So what do you do on such a hot, smoky day in the valley? Leave it for the mountains, of course. If you can find them, anyway. Today they were barely visible through all of that haze.
