Friday’s Flowers

White ThistleThis is one of the thousands of beautiful wildflowers we saw on our hike at Cedar Breaks last weekend. A white thistle! I’m not sure I’ve ever seen a white one before.

It was a great time to be at Cedar Breaks - it’s the peak of wildflower season there. The short hike to Alpine Pond was one of the most beautiful hikes I’ve ever been on - wildflowers of all types, dozens of hummingbirds (and other birds), and of course, the beautiful kodachrome colors of the canyon.
