Blech

Don’t be fooled by those beautiful, big, red strawberries at Costco. These must be ones that have been genetically modified to be red long before they’re ripe. I guess I’ll be making something out of them that has a lot of sugar in it.

I was fooled a week ago, but I won’t be buying them again. I’m sure you’re right about being GM – nasty!

    What a bummer!

I bought organic strawberries this week…had to eat up fast, they don’t last too long.

I will stay away from the strawberries on my trip to Costco this week — thanks for the tip!

They must go right along with the flavorless blueberries. They’ll be better as the season progresses.

Wow! dodged that bullet! We almost bought them but C talked me down. Instead I bought a big bag of craisins and have been enjoying them by the handful and spinkled on top of my salads with balsamic vinagrette :)

I’ve had some good ones from there. I always smell the boxes before buying. Call me The Fruit Sniffer…
