It’s a Match!

I finally, finally finished the second garter-rib sock. DH is very pleased (he’s wearing them today), and was really impressed at how well the stripes matched.

Pattern: Garter Rib Socks from “Sensational Knitted Socks”

Yarn: Plymouth Sockotta (45% cotton, 40% superwash wool, 15% nylon)

Fantastic! Truly impressive matching of stripes.

  4. Brenda says:

Perfect! Did you try to match stripes, or was it fortuitous?

  5. Cheryl says:

I’d like to say that the stripe matching was due to my excellent knitting expertise, but it was mostly luck. I did try to make sure I started the cuff with the same color, and although the heels came out differently, the feet and toes worked out just right!

They look great, stripes matched or no.

Sorry you have been feeling yucky. I am enjoying my Lark’s Heart especially today–thank you again for the wonderful gift!

And the seriatum socks are lovely!

    Blue skies!
